The cottage was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could need. Megan & Franz were warm, responsive, and accommodating hosts, and the thoughtful details made our stay especially comfortable. We spent two lovely nights at Big Blue Breaks and highly recommend it if you’re travelling along the South coast.

Our cabin had such thoughtful touches: a personal message on the fridge, flowers from the garden, and a fantastic hamper for my birthday. Megan and Franz were the best hosts. Amazing people, highly recommend this guesthouse. 10 out of 10. See you soon, Keith & Susan.

We stayed at Big Blue Breaks Holiday House in Umkomaas and loved how cozy and intimate it felt. My girlfriend and I were comfortable right away, like we were at home. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It was easy to get around, with restaurants and activities only a short drive away. We had a fantastic meal at The Bell Restaurant, enjoyed a treat at The Waffle House, and had a fun, educational outing at Croc World. For a peaceful, well-located place to stay in Umkomaas, I’d highly recommend Big Blue Breaks. We’ll be back for sure.
