The staff were friendly, but the lodge gave me the chills, and my partner and I both felt very uneasy. The carpets were torn and dirty, and there was hardly any furniture. If you're looking for somewhere cheap, this is the place. We couldn't see ourselves staying the night, so we paid and left before dark. We didn't see any other guests.

Michelle was outstanding and very professional, and I really appreciate all her kindness, care and help. It's a beautiful, peaceful place, and I definitely recommend it. We'll be coming back 😊.

The scenery and area are beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. Reception and hospitality were great. The showers are open and roomy, but water leaked out of the bathroom into the lounge.

The barman gave good service while we watched rugby, so it was a good evening out. Shame they didn't have red haert rum.

The place was clean and awesome, and worth the money. We had a noise issue that was sorted straight away. There was a dead cockroach, but it was due to the insecticide they'd sprayed. A few more towel racks would be nice.
