I love how this place balances a homely feel with a bit of class. As a student, I have enough desk space and light in my room, plus a really comfortable bed for after hours of studying. The people here are considerate and motivated, so it’s easy to find a quiet place to work, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, making sure students have a good experience. It’s close to campus and a huge mall and shopping center, and the short drive to the beach is pleasant. Everything a student needs, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home.

I’m from Johannesburg, and moving 1000 km away from home felt scary. The staff at Bellivista put me at ease from my very first contact with them, and I was blown away when I arrived. Bellvista Student Lodge is beautiful and peaceful, with an individual bedroom, bathroom and study area. When I want a change from studying in my room, there’s a gorgeous common area, as well as the University of Stellenbosch Business school library on the premises. The kitchen and common room are where I meet, cook, laugh and hang out with my great neighbors, a mix of undergrad, postgrad, medical, science, dentistry and accounting students. Tygerberg Stellenbosch campus is about 5 km away, and since I don’t have a car, the lodge’s shuttle takes the stress out of the daily commute. Shopping and recreation are easy too, with two malls and lots of restaurants within a 5 km radius. For my first time living away from home, I couldn’t have wished for a better place than Bellvista Student Lodge.

A great option for medical students at Stellenbosch University Tygerberg Campus, thanks to its ideal location. Every room is single occupancy and has its own en-suite bathroom. Highly recommend!
