The staff made a strong impression, always warm and ready to help. The location is handy for getting into Mthatha, though that convenience comes with a lot of noise at night. After several stays, I’ve had mixed luck with the rooms: they’re a decent size, but nothing special, and the air conditioning may or may not work. The sink stoppers can be faulty, and the queen beds are pretty standard. The building looks modern from outside, but worn corridor carpets and a dirty elevator suggest upkeep is slipping. Breakfast and dinner buffets are convenient, though the choices get repetitive if you stay often.

Mthatha Mall is right beside it, which is really handy. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs, and places to eat, plus a Kidz game zone in the mall.

Those lamb chops, lol, so tasty. The rest of the setup is more like a 4, maybe even a 3.5.

Everything was clean and well organized. Zintle at the front desk was especially great.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel was modern and very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast, but the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly.
