Bushwa Game Lodge

Our family of 14 had plenty of room at The Rhino Bush Camp, and everyone was comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to make the stay special, with great service throughout. We also had a fantastic time on the game drives and saw all sorts of animals. A really memorable, well-hosted safari, and I highly recommend it.

The pool and views are definitely the main draw. The ranger was the only person who made us feel welcome. The hostess was cold toward us, and the food was very substandard with no menu variety. There was no menu at all, so prices seemed to be decided on the spot and everything was overcharged. We finished breakfast at 10:50, then at 11:00 they told us to leave without giving us any time to pack, even though we were the only guests in the entire lodge all weekend. We didn’t feel welcome, just tolerated. We noticed some questionable things and acted like we hadn’t, while watching them try to fool us. The hostess gave off a very passive aggressive vibe.

We sat in the bush among a herd of buffalo as they grazed peacefully, close enough to make it unforgettable. Tiaan made that possible on our second game drive. Earlier, Ryno welcomed us on the first drive and took us to a romantic treehouse, where we shared a glass of wine with a breathtaking river view. At Bushwa Game Lodge, Belize was a wonderful host, and Peter’s fresh food was absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. I’d definitely recommend a relaxing, memorable getaway here. Keep up the great work, Team Bushwa🏆

Bushwa was the best place we’ve stayed. We spent an amazing anniversary weekend there, and the team went out of their way to make it memorable. The lodge is perched on a small hill with breathtaking views, and the food was exceptional. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing, luxurious stay in the Bushveld with wonderful service.
