We spent five days at this marvellous place, and the staff made it a joy. They were practical, understanding and attentive, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. They arranged extra trips into the bush and sundowners, which were superb. The food was thoughtfully prepared, and they were happy to help with anything extra. We hadn’t planned a spa day, but it was organised well and felt very professional. It’s one of the greatest places I’ve visited, and I’ll definitely return.

What bothered us most was that there wasn’t a single white person among the staff while we were there. Because of that alone, we won’t support this otherwise excellent lodge again. We stayed two nights, and the reception and general treatment from staff were excellent. The food and lodging were good too.

We flew in and were met by a game vehicle for the roughly 20 minute drive to the lodge. The welcome was lovely, and the staff were professional and friendly throughout. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast by the dam, in a secluded spot, was a stunning experience.

The location is gorgeous and peaceful, the food is superb, and the staff are absolutely brilliant. The wine price, though, is really quite ridiculous, which is such a shame. Even so, it’s still one of my favourite places.

We absolutely loved staying here. Everything was clean and neat, the food was excellent, and all the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We had a super guide too.
