We got in the car and left because the place wasn't as described. The jacuzzi had no water, and the braai was soaked by the rain. Freddy had said we could braai and that there was shelter, but there wasn't. The owner and staff gave us disgusting service, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. I'd booked a room on Friday for Monday night at R400. When we arrived, the women at the property seemed to know nothing about the booking and insisted on giving us a R500 room, with a filthy attitude. They barely understood anything, and Freddy acted like he'd never spoken to me, even though I'd booked through him. In response to your reply, you're lying. I have the full WhatsApp conversation, and nowhere did you say a deposit was needed to secure the room. I'll report your unethical business to the Department of Tourism. The reviews are frightening, and something needs to be done. You don't know how to run a business.

Your reply is condescending. Don't undermine my intelligence. The guesthouse isn't recommendable, period. I work in customer service, and your place shows no hint of it. You advertise falsely and mislead lodgers. The pool was dirty, and someone had vomited in it, though staff said it wasn't vomit. The jacuzzi water was cold, and when we asked for it to be switched on, they wanted payment that hadn't been mentioned when I arrived. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Please get the reception records in order. When I checked in, my WhatsApp chats were the only proof I had of the booking, even though I'd paid days earlier. Without them, I might have been denied entry. Better administration would help prevent needless arguments and delays at check-in.

The place was amazing, but they need to clean properly around the pool and clean the rooms every day.

We paid R1600 for two bedrooms and a two-night stay, but the bedding wasn't changed and the rooms weren't cleaned. When we asked, we were told it would only be taken care of after checkout. Some rooms didn't even have toilet paper, and there wasn't a closet or wardrobe. I'd rather sleep in my car than end up here again.
