Three Rivers Lodge and Villas

Breakfast was delicious and top quality, and we also ordered dinner from annas kitchen. William, our waiter, was friendly and professional. The room had everything we needed, plus some extra things, and it was very spacious. The service was great from arrival to departure. We felt treated like royalty and will definitely return.

We had no peaceful sleep because a connecting door left us hearing the next room’s guest snore and make a phone call at 3am. There was no privacy. Hot water only lasted long enough for one person to shower. The food we ordered took 3 hours to arrive, and when we asked about the delay, we were told the kitchen was busy with no apology. The employee who brought it kept coming into the room when we opened the door, which made us uncomfortable because we weren’t dressed to have anyone inside. The kettle was too dirty to use, and cleanliness overall wasn’t up to standard. We were met with unfriendly faces, especially the receptionist, who was rude and had an attitude. Even one star feels too generous.

We were really impressed for a first visit. There’s plenty of secure parking, the staff are great, and we loved our stay.

The property is kept so well, with clean rooms and beautiful gardens. The cleaning staff were amazing too. Tania was a superstar when we needed another room at short notice. She was kind and understanding, and quickly called staff to get a room ready. If I’m in the vaal again, I’ll definitely come back.
