The owner was rude and arrogant when I reported the problems. She said I was looking for issues because I’d asked to cancel my booking, and that I’d paid too little through bookings.com. I had requested a cancellation after my travel plans changed, but it was declined and I accepted that. God sees how people treat others. People who don’t know how to do business shouldn’t be in business. There was no hot water, so I had a cold shower. The bathroom lights didn’t work, the toilet seat was damaged, and the toilet paper holder was broken.

This is a lovely, laid-back B&B in a quiet setting, with good service. It felt safe and secure, and there was no load shedding 😂. Take your time on the bad roads around the area, and enjoy looking at the beautiful houses and scenery along the way.

I slept like a log and had a peaceful stay. The accommodation was clean, hygienic, safe and affordable, and breakfast was delicious. Lots of small things added up to a stay that felt like home. In the middle of the night, while we were driving around, it was the only place able to take us because the others were fully booked. It looks luxurious, though the exterior could use a few renovations. I’d recommend Zea 85 to others and will definitely come back next time. I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner Seya was amazing about taking care of my needs. She even went out of her way to get me a corkscrew for my wine, although she didn’t have one. The place also has secure parking. I really enjoyed my stay. It was clean and comfortable, the pool and small braai area beside it were clean, and the garden was well kept. I’ll be back.
