We were given a surprise complimentary car wash, which I only discovered when I came outside to find my car clean. The rooms were spacious and fit for purpose, and breakfast was amazing too. From the security guard’s warm welcome to the friendly receptionists, our time at Oxford Lodge was great.

I was there from Sunday to Friday for a work assignment, and the place felt like home. The decor is tasteful, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff were genuinely caring and welcoming. I especially appreciated chatting with the eager manager over breakfast, always ready to do what guests needed to enjoy their stay. It’s hard to imagine improving on it.

They even washed our car as a courtesy, which was such a lovely extra. The place is peaceful and spotless, with clean bedding and towels, and a clean toilet and shower. We were blown away by the precise attention to detail and the service from employees who clearly want to help. A real cherry on top.

We’d just come a long way from Witbank, and the friendly, professional reception made arrival easy. We had our keys and were in our rooms within five minutes. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were super clean, and breakfast is a feast with something to suit any traveler. Every staff member was so nice. This will definitely be our place to stay when we’re in Vryheid. Thanks for making it feel like home.

Our travel plans fell apart and left 15 of us unable to reach Ballito as planned, so we called Oxford Lodge at short notice. Barbara was amazing, the rooms were ready, and the price was very affordable. We were also pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included. Everything was neat and clean, just brilliant, and I highly recommend it.
