We had a really nice breakfast every day, and the staff were friendly and great to deal with. Dinner was less predictable: one night there was a fantastic spread, the next it was pretty poor. The hotel feels a little dated and isn't within walking distance of much, though it's a short drive from the city. The gym and pool are good ways to spend time there.

The barbecue dinner was excellent, and breakfast was a very good buffet. Other dinners were just okay. Our room was roomy and had a patio, mini fridge, and kettle with instant coffee, though the patio table tilted badly. The big letdown was the massages we had booked: the therapists weren't there. At reception we were told she hadn't come in because there were no appointments scheduled. I can only work off the tension by complaining! We spent the massage money on beer instead. All good, but you missed out on the payment.

The evening buffet was limited and dreadful, with food that was semi-cold or tepid. Breakfast didn't have much variety either. The staff were helpful, and the room itself was clean, spacious, and lovely, with nice views, a fridge, and complimentary water, tea, and coffee. It was just too far from Kruger.

We held a workshop here, but public transport was far away, so our stakeholders couldn't get to the venue. I also found three frogs in the room where I was sleeping. I know it's a densely treed area, but that wasn't pleasant for me.

We stayed here as part of the Exoticca tour. The rooms were spacious, and breakfast was good. It was a place to sleep!
