Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay, delicious and served with care each morning. White House Lodge was clean, well kept, and peaceful, with everything thoughtfully prepared for a family visit. We were there over the long weekend and felt at home from the start, thanks to Sussan's warm welcome and the attention she gave us right through to departure. The lodge is beautiful and ideal for a family getaway. We had an amazing time and will definitely return. Highly recommend it if you're after a relaxing, welcoming place.

We only spent one night here before heading to Krugar Park for a few days, but I could easily have stayed longer. The cottage was our own, comfortable, practical, and charming. Susann was a lovely hostess, easy to communicate with, and, if she was the one who cooked, a wonderful cook. The house Lab, Eunice, I believe, was relaxed and friendly, and joined us for part of our wander around the grounds. It was a warm South African winter day, so not everything was in bloom, though some of the pictures show how beautiful the place still was. A great mix of professional and personal, and I highly recommend it.

We booked through booking.com and stayed here in December 2023 with my Fiance. We travel a lot, and this place raised my expectations so much that I had to come back and write a review to help others enjoy their stay in WhiteRiver. The service was amazing from the first day. We arrived late, around 21, but Susan was waiting for us outside by the parking lot. She was incredibly patient, helped me park in the rain, and offered us umbrellas.

We had such a relaxing December at White House Lodge. Susan was a lovely host and did everything she could to make us comfortable. We enjoyed the views, pool, spacious rooms, and cozy library room, and even fitted in a game of chess. Breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning. Definitely one of the top stays in White River.
