Urban Bliss Hotel

I spent more than 20 minutes on the phone trying to reach the restaurant. Reception couldn’t transfer my call, then it disconnected without any explanation. Calling back got the same result. I feel the manager and receptionist colluded to damage the hotel’s reputation, and it seemed the manager didn’t come around to check on the ground staff during her duty time. When I got to kabwe urban bliss, I asked reception for a feedback form, but she couldn’t provide one and told the manager that someone was asking for it. A reputed hotel should have a feedback form, but they handed me a room feedback form instead of a restaurant one. I humbly ask Urban Bliss management to come out of the air-conditioned office and walk around the hotel.

The place has lovely views and ambiance, and the rooms are luxurious, but the service was terrible. We waited in the restaurant for over 30 minutes with no waiter in sight. We had to go to the bar inside to order drinks and carry them back ourselves. Dirty plates from earlier diners were still on the tables, with nobody around to clear them. Waiting over an hour for our food made it even more disappointing. I hope they improve.

The food is good, but it took a long time to arrive. My family and I were served after someone who came in about 10 minutes later, which felt unfair. The iced coffee was warm and tasted quite horrible, and when I ordered a mocha, they didn’t have the ingredients.

A great venue, with excellent food.
