Cairo Apartrments

I stayed for five days and discovered the next day, after reaching another country, that about $200 had been taken from my backpack. I believe it was stolen shortly before I left for the airport, which would have made it impossible for me to report it to the Police in time. I suspect this may have happened before and could happen again unless it's stopped. The person I believe was responsible at Cairo Apartment is Potipher. The apartment said my room was cleaned only once during my stay, while I was there, but I had stepped out while it was being mopped. In any case, anyone with a card key could enter, and housekeeping had keys to every room. There are only 8 apartments on one floor and 4 staff, so I think any one of them, or several acting together, could have taken the money at any time. They took it the day before I left. The neighbourhood isn't good either. It's dirty, with lots of hawkers, touts, and beggars around the apartments.
