The friendly staff were a plus, and the mosquito net helped me get a restful night's sleep despite mosquitoes coming through the louvre windows. The lodge is conveniently near Rubis Filling Station and Kalomo's central business district, with spacious but basic rooms. There was no water much of the time, and sometimes they had to bring water to the room even for flushing the toilet. The rooms lacked air-conditioning, fans and fridges. They also need to pay closer attention to maintenance: some bulbs didn't work and curtain rails were close to falling off.

Only stay here if you're really stranded. I wouldn't make the mistake of sleeping here otherwise.
