The location suited us because it was near where we needed to go, but this was not a good lodge. I came with four kids and other family members. At first, they said they didn’t like kids and allowed three children and one adult per room. One of my kids had to sleep with a family member they barely knew. The showers looked nothing like the pictures: they were rusty, and you had to wear shoes to shower. The water was really rusty too, and my kids said it smelled like blood. There were spiders everywhere. The beds were dirty, and there were used condoms lying around. One said “strawberry flavored for mor excitement,” and I worried the kids might mistake them for gum and eat them. They need to clean properly.

The fish and chips are the best, and the vinegar salads are great too. It’s in a safe area in kitwe, affordable, and very easy to recommend.
