It feels like a home away from home, with friendly staff and a welcoming family atmosphere. The gin and tonics are expertly made, too. Once you walk through the gate, it’s as if you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole, leaving central Lusaka behind for gardens, a pool, and little artistic corners everywhere. A really creative space.

Tanuger has such a warm, heartfelt feel as a place to stay. The staff are friendly and happy to go the extra mile for clients. I’d gladly recommend Tanuger.

A calm, friendly place to stay in Lusaka, close to malls and upmarket businesses. Rebecca and Chris made us feel very welcome.

The location is convenient, the prices are fair, and the staff are brilliant. The grounds could use a little more care and landscaping.
