The beds were comfortable, with all white linen, and the front office staff were friendly and handled my needs right away. The Milford Lodge is very comfortable and clean, with extensive conference facilities. Breakfast was adequate, and the staff were helpful. The lodge offers bed and Full English Breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a bar. It’s not in the heart of town, and the room had only side lamps, with no other lighting. The internet is extremely slow. There was noise in the evening around 21 to 22 hours. I don’t know whether it came from employees or guests. The infrastructure needs repairs, including broken taps, and breakfast was not good at all. The sausage was spoiled. We were meant to stay two nights but checked out early after just one. Management needs to put effort into the infrastructure and breakfast.

It’s an okay, clean place, but the standby power doesn’t run all the time. There’s a schedule you have to work around.

Milford is exquisite in Kitwe’s Nkana east, with nice fancy rooms and top notch room service. The front office staff are very professional and friendly, and the fresh food comes promptly. Very gold lodge.

The staff were attentive, and the place had a nice feel to it. My room was a bit small, though the layout worked well enough. Everything was clean and tidy, and breakfast was simple but fine.
