We had a really good time and stayed almost a week. The pool and sunbeds were lovely, and the place is quite central, about 15 minutes from stores and the bus station. Gloria was a fantastic host, always attentive and full of useful knowledge. She helped us book good trips through her connections and negotiated lower prices. When some clothes broke, staff went to the market to help get them stitched. As we were leaving, Gloria saw our heavy backpacks and drove us to the station. There were lots of thoughtful moments like that. All the staff were great.

We needed somewhere convenient and reasonably priced since we'd be out doing tourist activities. For the price it was very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Breakfast was really good. The country had the usual load shedding, but their backup system meant we weren't affected.

We appreciated the welcome juice and the suggestion to order food delivery when we arrived late. The staff, especially Gloria, were very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was decent. Still, staying at Gloria's was a mixed bag. The central area is at least a 20-minute walk away, depending on where you're going. On the day our room was cleaned, someone opened our bags, including a hidden inner compartment with a wallet. The bags were inside the closet, so there was no need to move or touch them to clean. We raised it with Gloria, and she said she'd make sure it didn't happen again. Even if nothing is missing, documents and information can be copied and sold these days.
