The rooms are simple but cover what you need. Ours had mosquito nets, a shower and toilet, a lockable cupboard, a safe, and a fridge. It’s good value in Livingstone, with the border a five-minute taxi ride away and the center just a 5-10 minute walk.

At K850, this room was terrible value and not worth the price. There were mosquitoes in the room, the pillow was hard as a stone, and the staff were rude. Even asking for mosquito spray could leave you feeling humiliated.

Water was so scarce that even basic needs became frustrating, and electricity was unreliable too. We didn't get fresh towels unless we asked for them to be changed, and the included breakfast was disappointing. This is extremely basic accommodation and needs a major service upgrade to qualify as a 3 Star Lodge.

For anyone watching their spending, it may be a good option. It's near the CBD and several amenities, and Livingstone is hot, so I was glad the room had air conditioning and hot and cold running water. My room wasn't cleaned because they had no spare keys, which was disappointing. There's no restaurant on site, so you'd need to order delivery from a nearby place or go out to eat.

I stayed five nights and found the rooms clean and cool, with friendly staff. The food was okay, and they also offer takeout. I wish the dining room served supper as well. There was a small billing hiccup after checkout: once I'd paid and left, I got a call saying they'd forgotten to charge us for our last breakfast, but it was sorted out. Nice place overall, well priced, and I would recommend it.
