Shakespeare Court

The website didn’t match what we found at the accommodation, and the state of the rooms shocked us. Our beds were dirty, the linen was torn, and the pillows smelled terrible. When we called housekeeping, they told us to deal with it because the washing machines rip the bedding. The showers hadn’t been cleaned, the doors were broken, and they’d made a horrible, cheap fix with a curtain. The couches smelled foul. The kitchen had no kettle or teaspoons even though tea and coffee sachets had been left out. It was not a pleasant stay or value for money, and I’d never recommend it. It feels like they take your money, then you see the dump you’re expected to live in.

The toilets and showers smelled and weren’t properly cleaned. The bedding was disgusting too, with dirty, torn sheets and pillowcases. There was no kettle or hot water.

For three weeks, this place felt like home to me. The apartments are comfortable and have everything I needed, and the staff were lovely and always ready to help. There’s also a mall just a few minutes’ walk away. I’d happily recommend it.

The rooms and views are great. There’s a decent gym and pool, and security is good.
