They even packed "padkos" for my early morning departure, and the service from the chef, waitress, and managers was exceptional. What a gem, possibly the best bed and breakfast I've ever experienced. I'll plan future road trips around staying at this lodge.

We loved relaxing by the fireplace, sharing wine and dessert with a loved one in the calm, cozy atmosphere. The only inconvenience was having just one hairdryer for guests to share. The owner sisters were kind, and the staff were thoughtful throughout. After we missed lunch at Matobo and arrived hungry, they had sandwiches ready for us in just 30 minutes. The food was a highlight. The chicken was incredibly fresh and juicy, with no unpleasant odor, and even the breast stayed tender and moist. It was the best homemade chicken dish I’ve ever made in Zimbabwe 🤗. The fillet steak was tender yet chewy, and the Matabeleland beef never disappoints. Its pepper sauce was subtle and balanced, letting the beef's texture and flavor come through. Being right next to the game drive meant we saw adorable deer, monkeys, and birds every morning.

The meals were amazing and the staff were wonderful. Fabulous place, highly recommend.

I've stayed at Musketeers several times over the years, from one night to more than a week, and I always feel at home there. It's a safe, relaxing spot away from the city's noise. The chalets are tidy and comfortable, with good hot water and decent WiFi. The food has always been first rate and served impeccably. Liz gives the very best service and goes above and beyond. During COVID, she even took me to a doctor and prepared special meals for me. It's a great lodge for sitting on the veranda with a drink or relaxing by the fire with one.
