There weren't any towels in the room, and when I asked for an iron in the morning so I could press my clothes, they refused. I also spent 30 minutes waiting at the front desk.

The bathrooms are nice and there's hot water, but there are unpleasant smells throughout. The bedding needs washing more often, and they should sort out what's shown on TV. Parking is a mess, and the staff weren't very friendly.

I was hoping to relax over a drink with a friend while on holiday a few weeks ago. I ordered Amarula, and the first sip was fine. On the second, I felt something in my mouth and spat it out. It was a big cockroach. I went to tell the bar lady who served me, but she was rude, wouldn't apologize, and said it was my fault. I asked for the manager so they could understand how bad this was, but the manager was even worse. I reminded them about health and safety policies and said I'd report them to the Food Standards Agency. They didn't seem to care how I felt and ignored me, treating me as if I were crazy. I don't recommend the place at all.

There's a nice atmosphere, cold beer, and a lovely vibe. But lately they've introduced a silly deposit for glasses. That'll put me off going back. Stores and bars should cover their own breakages, not make customers pay.
