Gunhill Avenue Guesthouse

It felt like home, and the staff were friendly, thoughtful, and so helpful. The quiet location is a short drive from town. My room had everything I needed, fast WiFi with entertainment and Netflix, a clean and spacious bathroom, and AC. Amazing experience and great value for money. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Harare.

I was only told about the 10am checkout when it was already 10am, and the staff wouldn't accommodate even a small delay. I was there alone for one night, so there was hardly anything to clean up after me. They were rude and unhelpful. There are plenty of alternatives at the same price, so why put up with that kind of unfriendliness?

Just what my Mom and I needed after a very long, tiring journey. The place was clean and great value for money, if not more, and they were extremely accommodating with requests. Excellent place to stay.

I booked the Executive Suite for one night, 17 Dec 21, a week in advance. When I travelled to Hre, I was told the room wasn't available because they'd given it to someone else, without cancelling my booking first. I had to find somewhere else at the last minute. Thankfully, the courteous staff at Holiday Inn Harare found me a place for the night. I wouldn't recommend Gunhill to anyone.
