A word of caution for future guests: the local baboons and monkeys are clever and adventurous, and will try to get into rooms to steal food. Keep windows and doors firmly closed when you're out. It's a small precaution during an otherwise perfect stay. The resort is expansive, peaceful, and beautiful. We felt cared for right away, thanks to the warm welcome ceremony on arrival. The facilities are fantastic, with a lovely swimming pool, well-kept tennis courts, and broad green lawns. For a visit to Victoria Falls, this is undoubtedly the best choice. Highly recommended!

I was here for the 2026 SADC ENERGY WEEK SEW2026. The conference brought in a lot of people, but the program still ran smoothly, which says a lot about Elephant Hills Resort. My stay was wonderful. The food, architecture, service, and atmosphere were all very good.

We had a pleasant stay. The place felt luxurious, with a big pool, lots of space, and a comfy room. Dinner was great and the food was good. I personally wasn't keen on the jelly-type thing. It's very expensive, but I think it's worth it. The restaurant has good views, and the hotel is close to lots of different places. There were lots of animals in the garden, a small but nice playground for kids, and a cool bar. I highly recommend it, and thank everyone looking after the hotel for a pleasant stay. The rooms feel a bit old-fashioned, which is why renovation is scheduled. The hotel is still open and can be booked from February through October, inclusive. From November 2026, it will close for an 18-month refurbishment and modernization, so take advantage before then ;) It's set in a beautiful park, with a nice pool and very friendly staff. The location is excellent, close to Livingston Road, the city center, and the falls. Breakfast was good.

The setting looks beautiful as soon as you drive onto the grounds. Staff greet you on arrival, and our group was shown to a reception room for a welcome drink and a briefing about the hotel and its services. Our rooms had plenty of space for two people. Standards differ from the West, and the double beds are right next to each other. Staff will separate them if you ask, though working around the mosquito netting can be tricky. Mosquito spray is provided and strongly recommended. Gaps around the sliding glass doors and room entrance let mosquitoes in, so I'd suggest spraying the door frames too. There was a good selection of delicious food, from the buffet to the menu. Orders from the menu took a little longer than we'd like in the dining room and bar, even when they weren't busy. We also had to order a shot on the side with mixed or cocktail drinks to make them taste like an American drink. Our guide said there's a negative history behind alcohol.
