The service made this a very relaxing place to unwind. The wait staff and front desk were always ready to help and made our stay memorable, especially while we were travelling with an elderly parent. Thanks in particular to Pieoh, Nkosi, Giant, Matthew, and the front desk team for going the extra mile. Coming from South Africa, we stayed at Waterfalls Lodge on our first visit to Victoria Falls. It’s one of the newer places in town and feels fresh and modern. The rooms were spacious and clean, with interconnecting options for families, and there are fewer than 100 rooms, so it doesn’t get overcrowded. The garden and pool areas were tidy and well cared for. The food was tasty and well prepared. It’s well located for the falls and nearby activities, with a shuttle available. Like much of Victoria Falls, though, it’s a bit pricey. For us, the level of service made the stay well worth it.

Waterfalls Lodge is a hidden gem. We had an amazing time there in Victoria Falls on the 18th of January this year. From the guard’s warm greeting at the gate to dinner with my family, the hospitality was superb. The place was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. There was so much choice on the menu that I wanted to try everything, but I picked one dish, and the chef delivered. Chef’s kiss. I’ll definitely come back, and highly recommend it.

The dinner was wonderful, almost fine dining, and there’s a free shuttle to a few nearby places that made getting around easier. We had a lovely stay, with modern, clean rooms and staff who were friendly and really helpful. I’d definitely return.

The people at Waterfalls Lodge made our visit feel magical. Providence was kindhearted and lovely, and we looked forward to seeing her at the restaurant each day. When my mom mentioned that Malva Pudding was her favorite dessert from a previous trip to Zimbabwe, Providence passed it on to the chef, who made it especially for us the next night. We were blown away by that personal touch. Praise in the gift shop helped us find just the right gifts without any pressure, and System, Clement, Princess, Leonard, Matthew, and the helpful, pleasant front desk team all made our group’s experience better. Every staff member we met was exceptional. We spent 5 nights there. The property is stunning, we used the pool several times, and ate at the restaurant at least once a day. My wife and I had a beautiful room with a spacious shower and a very comfortable bed. We loved the open-air lobby and restaurant, where we could enjoy the landscaping. Breakfast was delicious: I tried the creamy mushroom toast, the Waterfalls Benedict, and the flapjacks with maple syrup. We enjoyed every dinner there too. Wild Horizons and the Lodge coordinated our transport to planned activities around Victoria Falls seamlessly, making it comfortable and stress free. I also went to the spa and booked the Rejuvenation Journey, with a full body massage and exfoliation. Renita gave me one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had. After several days of game drives, it was a great way to relax and feel refreshed. It was a dream vacation, and Waterfalls Lodge was the perfect place to stay in Victoria Falls. I wish we could return every year.

This was easily the nicest hotel of our 21 day vacation. The rooms were lovely, meals delicious, and the grounds and pools beautiful. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. A special thanks to our servers Maple and Daniel, who were excellent and took time to chat with us about their culture and lives in Victoria Falls.
