Otdykh u Zaura Mini hotel

The biggest strengths are the warm sea, beautiful nature, nearby mountains, and a clean beach that stayed uncrowded even in peak season because there are only a few hotels around. Reaching the sea takes 2-4 minutes, depending on how long crossing the road takes. The hotel is an easy 10/10 for me. The building is new and clean, with good repairs. There is a ground-floor cafeteria serving tasty, affordable home cooking, plus a kettle, microwave, washing machine, iron, small private pool, and enough seating for everyone. Nearby shops are few, their selection is limited, and prices are high, while good cafes are lacking. A 50-ruble minibus ride to Novaya Gagra solves that, since everything you need is there. The main drawback was an unscheduled power cut that could shut down the whole city. Having traveled widely around Abkhazia, I would still return only here.

The hosts, Beslan and Galina, were incredibly hospitable, and leaving them was genuinely difficult. We’ll be back next year, and I highly recommend them. ❤️❤️❤️ My mother and I spent 10 days at the Parus Guest House on the third floor with a sea view. The rooms were clean and attractive, with a TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, and a balcony view that was simply wow. Downstairs, Vanya cooked in the dining room, and his food was unbelievably good. I had never eaten chicken thigh before trying Vanya’s. The whole stay was incredible.

This was my first visit to Abkhazia, and I left with only good impressions. The hotel was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the food was tasty with a good choice. I really liked everything. Thank you so much. ❤️

The sea is close by, clean, and well kept. At the hotel we found welcoming hosts, a fantastic chef, and tasty, affordable home cooking, all in a great atmosphere. We’ll come back. Highly recommended!
