Festa Brava

The room was filthy when I checked in at 3pm. There was hair throughout the bathtub, sink, and especially the beds, with small pieces on every sheet. I stripped the bed and slept under my jacket. Paying 110 euro for that was hard to accept, especially after staying in a 30 euro hostel the previous weekend that was cleaner. The thin walls made things worse, with thumping, knocking, and voices carrying late into the night. A very loud noise, like someone unclogging a toilet, kept me and my friends awake, and I assumed it was a plumbing issue. The hospitality was otherwise helpful, but the outside of the hotel had already made me question the booking. I would not book this place, since there are much nicer hotels nearer Andorra’s Main Street.

I had a quiet night here while passing through and slept well in a small but comfortable room with a private bath. It’s a good budget option. The walk from the bus station is uphill, but a public elevator beside the parking garage takes you up to the higher plaza, leaving only a short walk to the hotel.

The room is extremely small, but that’s what you get for the price. What stood out was the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. When I was trying to reach the bridge and tourist attraction, they reminded me to book, explained the public transit, and even printed a map. Their English was understandable.

For a budget traveller, this is a fantastic spot. The place is small and simple, but it’s exceptionally clean and the location is hard to beat. There are many places to eat just steps away, the town centre is about 2 minutes on foot, and the bus station is around 10 minutes away. The staff were very kind and accommodating.
