The food was absolutely phenomenal, and Federico, who waited on us most days, was charming, enthusiastic, and always available when we needed him. He was also great to talk with. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing we asked for seemed to be a problem. We had such a wonderful time here and would come back 100%.

The hotel is close to the city center, with clean, spacious rooms and good views of the Valira. Service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. The gym could use some maintenance, though. Parking costs extra and can't be reserved in advance. When it is full, the alternative is about a 10-minute walk away, which is a bit inconvenient.

The central location and spacious rooms were good, and the receptionists were friendly and spoke several languages. But the check-out morning was an extremely upsetting experience. I had already received approval from reception for a 30-minute late check-out. Even before the normal check-out time, starting at 10:58, housekeepers knocked on my door and shouted rudely four times. I answered in English that I had requested the extra 30 minutes, but they apparently didn't understand, so I called out, “un moment si us plau”. After I explained again, they forced the door open and entered. That felt like extreme harassment and was completely disgusting and unacceptable. When I later saw the housekeepers in the hallway, they didn't apologize and simply walked away. I felt deeply disrespected and as if I wasn't being treated like a human being.

The breakfast was the bright spot, with some nice local food. The rest felt outdated and overpriced. Wi-Fi was extremely slow and unstable, while the rooms were worn and decorated with what they call native Andorrean art, which felt cheap. The main hall smelled like an old, smoky cheap billiard bar, a strange gimmick for a place surrounded by mountains. About half the rooms face a parking wall, so opening the window means dealing with parking noise and smells.
