We mainly used the place as a base for skiing, sleeping and having breakfast there before heading out until bedtime. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were fine and warm enough to dry ski gear overnight. Breakfast was OK, though we didn’t eat dinner. The location is beautiful, around 5 minutes from the gondola, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

The service was absolutely fantastic, from the friendly reception staff to the warm and very helpful restaurant team. The food was delicious and there was a great selection, so we felt well looked after. Our room was basic but had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed. It was fairly central, although the hotel is on a hill, which was a little inconvenient. That position did give us stunning views from the room.

The Gondola is incredibly close, making this a fantastic location. We stayed with my partner and my 8-year-old boy, and the staff were amazing and very accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks a lot.

The dining experience left me humiliated and deeply uncomfortable. A staff member publicly accused me of taking food without permission, even though I had paid for halfboard, and then walked away speaking loudly in Spanish. I approached another employee in English because I don’t understand Spanish and wanted a calm explanation. Another guest joined us and said they had experienced something similar, expressing sympathy and saying it reflected badly on the hotel. There was no one at the entrance to seat us or explain the dining procedure. Instead, a man approached us in a confrontational way and spoke in a language I couldn’t understand, in front of other guests. I said politely that I didn’t understand and waited until two staff members came from the back, then asked one of them to explain in English. If there are dining rules, they should be explained at check-in or communicated politely on arrival, not enforced by publicly embarrassing guests. This is a 3 star hotel rather than a standalone fine dining restaurant, so basic hospitality, courtesy, and clear communication should come first. We are not the only guests who have encountered unpleasant staff behaviour. Since the incident, we haven’t attended breakfast or dinner and don’t want to do so. I hope the matter is taken seriously and reviewed, because no guest should be treated this way.
