The renovated SPA was the real highlight, and using it was a pleasure. The hotel itself isn't new, but it makes the most of that character, with ancient artifacts displayed throughout. The lobby and bar are especially magnificent. The ski lift is only a few minutes away, so getting up the mountain is very easy. Breakfast was the one strange disappointment, since there were no vegetables or greens at all. Even so, we'll come back.

The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help. When we nearly got stranded on the journey home, they checked replacement taxis for us. For skiing, the location is fantastic. You are only about ten steps from putting on your skis and heading down to the gondola.

We arrived at about 23:00 on a Friday after seven hours on the road. The hotel was clean and very lovely, but reception was already closed when we asked for a bottle of wine to take to the room and relax. That was disappointing after such a long drive. We left our bags and went out by car to a nearby fast-food restaurant. It wasn't far away, and the person there was very nice and helpful.

The hotel has a beautiful, unusual style, and I especially enjoyed the clown room and the artwork throughout the building. Our family of six had a lovely stay. The food was immaculate, and the staff were friendly, funny, and easy to joke with while we waited for meals. It worked very well for skiing, with two lifts to the slopes and a ski locker at the hotel. After skiing, the pool gave us a peaceful break together. We felt well looked after and would love to return.

Skiing in and out was extremely convenient, and the ski lockers were good. The rooms are on the small side, but they were spotless and practical, with comfortable beds and even a kettle. The food was good and the staff helpful. Ski shops and a popular bar are in the same complex, which made the location even more useful.
