The location is convenient, and the photos are mostly accurate. There is a dedicated check-in desk with detailed directions and a map explaining how to reach the room and parking. Communication was poor. They didn’t answer the phone during business hours until 8:00 PM, and they replied to messages only after we had checked out. The biggest disappointment was the fireplace. The room had no firewood, there was no way to buy it at the hotel, and we were told only afterward that a gas station sold it. This should have been stated in the website description or the self-service check-in instructions. Since we arrived late, it almost ruined my husband’s birthday, and the warnings about fines made us unsure whether we could even use the fireplace. Fortunately, another review mentioned that firewood wasn’t provided. The fine system was also troubling. It seemed intended to discourage guests from paying the 150 euro deposit, and there were possible charges for things like leaving rubbish or not washing dishes. One listed fine had an inaccurate amount of 30-150 euros. The price feels inconsistent with having to take out the rubbish and wash the dishes yourself. It’s also strange that cleaning takes 5 hours when check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. Soundproofing is poor, so you can hear all the neighbors.

!!!! Horrible !!! There is apparently no soundproofing at all, so every noise from the neighboring apartments comes through. Don’t stay here if you’re looking for a relaxing break. If you’re coming to party, though, it may suit you. You can play loud music, shout, and jump around without anyone from the staff saying anything. The staff seemed interested only in taking your money. Asking them for help just felt like an inconvenience.

The service was terrible from the start. The staff were unfriendly, disrespectful, and constantly difficult to deal with. They accepted cash for the payment but required the deposit by card. Then they kept us waiting an hour and a half to receive that money back in cash. We asked whether we could stay in the room while waiting and were told yes, but afterward they reprimanded us for being there, as if accepting cash had been a favor. If cash isn’t workable for them, they shouldn’t charge that way. It was a very negative experience, and I will never return.

I’ve been waiting a year for a refund for the insurance I paid in case I couldn’t travel for health reasons, which is what happened. I always pay for this coverage because my health could prevent me from going. Consumer law covers the situation even if that insurance had not been purchased.
