For a budget stay, the rooms have what you need and the price is very low. The location is great, and the staff were kind and friendly, especially Valentina at reception. I would happily stay here again. It seems odd to expect a five-star hotel when booking somewhere on a budget.

The ski area is only a short walk away, which is the main advantage. The staff were friendly, but they were slow when we asked for things like towels and toilet paper. At first the room looked fine and the appliances were useful, but the floor was very dirty. We found broken glass beneath a bed and rubbish from previous guests on the shelves. One bed was beside a wardrobe with a screw sticking out next to the pillow. The electrics were unreliable too, with no bathroom light and the main-room lights flickering. The front door seemed easy to break into, and there was almost no soundproofing. Noise from the stairwell and nearby rooms regularly woke us. Paying a little more elsewhere would probably save a lot of hassle.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent. There are also good meals available when you do not feel like going out. The apartments are only two-star, but they were clean and surprisingly spacious even with four men sharing. It is uphill to reach the property, but once there you have what you need. The slopes are a short walk away, and confident skiers or snowboarders can ski right to the front door. For a skiing week, it suited us perfectly, and I would use it again if I returned to Andorra.

This works well as a skiing lodge, with slope access about two minutes away and the town's amenities roughly a five to ten minute walk. The bar is decent, although there are not many other facilities inside. The staff are friendly and most speak at least some English. The rooms are very basic, and some have equipment that others do not, but the room cleaning was quite good.
