Beatrice welcomed us when we arrived, and her caring, kind manner immediately made a great impression. I would almost have slept on a wooden box because of her. Joan was equally helpful at night, giving us information about customs and ideas that made our trip better. The hotel has beautiful views, wonderful staff, and good amenities. I highly recommend it.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the hotel has an excellent location with plenty of facilities. The professional, kind staff explained everything we needed to know and were especially helpful for our first visit. We will definitely come back.

We loved our skiing holiday here. The Andbus from Barcelona airport stopped just across the way, and the free Funicamp Gondola shuttle collected us from that same stop each morning. We rented a locker at Funicamp and walked back in the evenings, which made a pleasant cooldown. Leaving the Funicamp building, we turned right down the slope beside eSports Everest, followed the small street to a road, turned right, then left at the steps beyond a carpark. The walk took about five minutes. Reception explained how to use the pool, games room, and bar, and the bar staff were friendly and fast. The maid service was also excellent, coming every day. The restaurant was closed during our visit, but the bar offered a limited food selection. We ate there twice and especially liked the leek soup. Most Encamp restaurants were easily walkable, and two supermarkets were under three minutes away. The room had no kettle, which made my British heart bleed, but otherwise it was ideal. There was hanging space, a fridge, a balcony, and a large bathroom with a bidet, tub, and shower. The huge bed was very comfortable. Because of Covid procedures we couldn't use the sauna. On the positive side, limited numbers and booking meant we had the pool and jacuzzis almost to ourselves. The games room was fun too, with snooker costing €1 and a €10 cue deposit.

The restaurant was a real surprise, offering a lovely evening meal with the menu written in four languages and sample dishes displayed so guests could see what was available. The menu was excellent value, and the wine quality was good. Breakfast also had a large and very good selection. This clean, comfortable, modern hotel sits in the heart of Encamp and has excellent facilities, including a Spa. Ski storage is available, the free bus to the cable car is only a short walk away, and there is parking too. Highly recommended.
