Hotel Guineu

The hotel is in a quiet spot just outside the main town centre, with bright, clean, comfortable rooms and a great location only two minutes from the slopes. The buffet food was good and there was plenty of choice. The waiting staff worked hard and were genuinely great, and we appreciated the effort put into the Xmas dinner. Half board did not cover drinks with dinner, not even plain water, which had to be bought. Dinner also ran from 1930-2230, a little late for families with young children. WiFi was available but weak and kept dropping out. The rooms would be better with a kettle and mugs for making drinks. The basement garage had excellent storage for skis and other equipment. There was also a bar and lounge with sport and music. We had a good stay and would recommend the hotel.

A lovely little hotel with genuinely friendly staff and everything needed for a ski holiday. The slopes are only 20 metres away, while shops and restaurants are conveniently close. The locker rooms were clean and warm. Dinner changed every night and always included soup, several salads, and choices such as meat, fish, or pasta, so I could always find something enjoyable. I would certainly recommend it.

This has been my ski-holiday choice for three years in a row, and it remains my favorite place in Pas De la Casa. You can reach the skiing with a walk of no more than 100 meters, and the staff are so friendly that they welcome you like family. I've never had any problems. The food and service are amazing, with enough available at the hotel that you don't need to go outside looking for somewhere else. Greetings from Estonia!

The hotel is extremely clean, modern, and comfortable, with a slope only about 60 seconds away on foot and the lifts roughly four minutes away. My room was excellent, the beds were very comfortable, and the super-fluffy pillows gave me brilliant nights of sleep. The shower was powerful and consistently very hot. Everyone on staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They all seemed happy to be there. The food was just as good, with excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Breakfast covered both “English breakfast” and continental choices, including pastries and churros. Dinner offered salads, meat, vegetables, pasta, and more, so I ate well and had plenty of healthy salad and veg. I would highly recommend this fantastic hotel and will return the next time I snowboard in Andorra. One small tip, remember the 50 cent coin for the ski locker, or reception can give you one if you pay them 50c by card.
