The valley is well worth the journey, and the setting is beautiful. The place does need some repairs and renovation, but it worked reasonably well for our three-day stay.

Once you get farther into the valley, the nature is beautiful and the whole place feels much better. The road entrance is badly signposted and poorly lit at night, while the narrow car parking entrance gives a rather poor first impression. It's a great spot if being surrounded by nature is what you want.
The incredible mountain views make this an ideal place for anyone who loves the mountains.
This is a very convenient base for countless excursions. Unfortunately, renovations were taking place during our stay, which was annoying. The lower floor was very pleasant, although the kitchen felt too small. Upstairs, the ceiling above the double bed was so low that we had to duck and keep watching our heads.
There are wonderful views and an easy place to walk for a while, with no real difficulty. Parking is straightforward too, and children can come along.
