Everything we ordered at the Hotel restaurant was excellent. The salmon, chicken, and pasta were all delicious, and the raspberry cheesecake and flan were wonderful too. The staff were perfect and made the whole dinner even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The location is convenient, with restaurants and ski lifts nearby, and several members of the team were particularly helpful. Julieta and Jorge assisted us with dinner reservations and gave us information about Grandvalira. The cafeteria and breakfast staff were also consistently kind, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was a real strength, especially for anyone heading out onto the slopes. There were plenty of protein and energy rich choices, although plain yoghurt would have been a useful addition. Some parts of the stay felt less guest friendly. Pool access costs extra, which seems unnecessary and disproportionate for a hotel in this category. The early check-in conversation was also disappointing. We arrived before the usual time and asked whether the room might be available, but were simply told several times that check-in was at 3, without anyone checking or explaining further. We understand that there are policies, but some discretion would have made the interaction feel more hospitable. More generally, the hotel’s written rules and some verbal communication came across as quite rigid. Terms such as “forbidden” and “obligatory” give the place an institutional feel. The rules themselves are understandable, but a warmer, more guest oriented tone would improve the experience considerably. The hotel has solid foundations, though there is definite room to improve.

The rooms were modern and clean, and getting to the ski gondola was very easy, since it was less than a 5 minute walk away. What stood out most, though, was the staff. They helped us arrange dinner reservations at short notice, taxis, and plenty of other things. Everyone was excellent.

The location is superb, with the slopes only a 5 minute walk away, and the rooms are modern, comfortable, and well designed. We found the room size more than adequate, despite seeing comments from some people who felt differently. The free ski lockers beside the slope were a great bonus, and we were lucky to park directly in front of the hotel at their carpark. A special mention has to go to Juliette from Guest Services. She contacted us before arrival to ask about our visit and whether she could make anything special. Because of her help, my birthday dinner and the spa were arranged smoothly, and the parking information was clear from the beginning. Jorge and Daniella, the receptionist managers, were also incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming, always greeting us with big smiles. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly prepared choices each morning. The spa is small, but excellent. We liked that bookings are limited to no more than six people, and we were fortunate to have it entirely to ourselves. It was peaceful, private, and a lovely way to relax after skiing. We ate at both Xalet Montana and Naudi, their sister hotel across the road, and were very impressed by both the food and the atmosphere, especially at a Naudi. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is close to the road, so light sleepers may want earplugs. That’s fairly common for hotels in the area, though, and after a full day on the slopes it barely bothered us. The staff were attentive, kind, and clearly focused on making guests comfortable. We felt very well looked after and would gladly return.
