Hesperia Andorra

Dinner was fancy, while breakfast was right on point. The hotel is very comfortable and reasonably priced for its location and services. The service was outstanding too, including letting us get products from the lobby and have them brought up to our room.

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a good bathroom with a bath. I was worried the street noise would keep me awake, but I slept well and wasn't disturbed during the night. Breakfast was the highlight, with a huge choice and even decaffeinated coffee in the machines. I paid for it at check-in and was very glad I did. The staff were brilliant once we arrived, friendly and helpful. Finding the hotel was tricky because local maps listed it under another name, mobile data wasn't available, and tourist information sent us to the wrong hotel before showing us the way. Motorbike parking cost €13, and I got a great booking.com deal for a one-night midweek stay. I'd happily use this hotel again in Andorra City.

The clean room, comfortable bed, and courteous, professional staff made this a good short stay. There is also an elevator, restaurant, and bar, with check-in from 3pm and check-out at noon. The bathroom needs attention: the ventilation didn't work properly, the small mirror was cracked, and the window wouldn't close fully, sometimes letting in outside noise. Those details feel out of place for a four-star hotel. It isn't right in the city center, but the value is fair. With some improvements, it could better match its four-star rating. I would give it 4 out of 5.

The location is convenient, near Andorra's main street without being too crowded, and the price is reasonable for a 4-star hotel. Common areas were clean, but my room had hair on the floor beside the bed when I arrived. Housekeeping also knocked three times before noon on checkout day, even though checkout was at 12:00, which was disruptive. The hotel accepts pets, but dogs aren't allowed at the rooftop bar and we weren't told that beforehand. We booked through Agoda, yet the note about our dog never reached the hotel, so there were no pet amenities. The staff were otherwise generally friendly. Good value, but housekeeping training is needed.
