The mountain view was a real highlight, and our huge room came with a very generous balcony. The hotel has a charming old-fashioned feel, plus a spa complex with a large pool, although using it costs extra. Breakfast is good value, and the restaurant also looks out over the mountains. The staff were generous and lovely. Some areas are a little rundown, but a major expansion is underway, so that could change. One of the best parts of our holiday.

Our rooms were clean, quiet and spacious, and the private parking was useful. The view from the rock was great, and having hot chocolate in the evening was a nice touch. The difficult part is the walk back from the city center, since the hotel is up a hill. If you don't mind climbing, it's a great choice.

The staff were very nice, and I didn't hear any construction during my Friday-to-Sunday stay. Breakfast was especially good, with very tasty food from the chef. It's a very good hotel, though a little expensive. The pool is also extra, almost 10E per person each day.
