Our family’s New Year trip worked out perfectly thanks to the hotel’s atmosphere, mountain setting, and recreation areas. Everything felt well looked after, from the cleaning to the breakfast and dinner. Antonio deserves thanks for his leadership, and Kiyoshi, Sebastian, and Dante gave us wonderful service in the restaurant. Both meals were excellent. The location is especially convenient for skiing, and families looking for comfort and mountain scenery should find it appealing. Parking is handled fairly well too. The hotel has a small free lot of around 40 spaces, while a paid car park about 5 minutes away costs 5 to 15€ and also offers a forfait discount.

The view is lovely, and the buffet had plenty of good food to choose from. I liked the place overall. I only held back one star because the bar could offer more alcohol choices, especially different kinds of beer for after skiing. The Bartender was really nice, though, even if he supports a bad fútbol team en mexico. Reception was friendly too. Carlos stood out because he was the only person there who spoke English, and he was great.

The snowy valley views were beautiful, and the rooms were very comfortable. The food was delicious every day, while the staff made the stay especially enjoyable. Antonio, who manages Hotel Ransol, runs things very well, and Joaquim, Lourdes, and Gimena all provided outstanding hospitality. Parking was convenient: there’s free parking onsite, or a cheap municipal option about 5 minutes away that comes with a Grandvalira pass discount.

My son and I had a really pleasant week here. The public spaces are comfortable, the staff are extremely friendly, and the half-board breakfast and dinner are filling. The rooms are fairly Spartan, but they do the job, with modern bathrooms and plenty of hot water. If you’re driving to Andorra, the hotel is conveniently placed for the El Tarter ski lift. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience and would think about coming back.

The setting is nice and the people are friendly, but there are better choices nearby. The hotel itself isn’t terrible, although the small rooms, each with roughly 4 beds, feel cramped. The biggest issue was the food. It was horrendous and left me and the rest of my group with serious sickness. The pool table and bar were welcome features, especially when dealing with the poor food and tight rooms.
