Hotel Parador de Canolich

The hosts, an adorable couple, couldn't have been more hospitable. They even delayed their own prepared meal and opened the kitchen early so we could have dinner. They introduced us to a simple new dish of toast, garlic, tomato, olive oil and salt. Who knew 😂 The scenery was breathtaking, the food amazing, and the experience in Andorra felt incredibly pure. Blue, el perro, was also an incredible host. I'd come back again and again. Thank you!

The views were amazing, and the whole experience was wonderfully calming. We were the only pair there on our first night, and the couple who owns the place stayed up late to check us in. They were kind, helpful, and made us delicious meals whenever we needed them. It's also SO cheap. If you're traveling to Andorra with a car and can get here, you should.

The hosts cooked delicious food, including the best onion soup we've ever had, and even prepared a lunch box for our snowy mountain walk. Our few days there felt magical, helped by the beautiful, clean white rooms and the absolute peace and quiet in the mountains. This is the most stunningly beautiful and welcoming hotel I've visited, with an incredible location and wonderful hosts. Huge thanks to them and the barn cats. In winter, bring snow chains. The hotel is at the end of a very steep, winding road, and it does snow.

This small hotel is beautifully located, and its hosts are fabulous. We stayed just one night, but we'd gladly come back for a longer visit.
