Aparthotel Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan

The attractive lobby was the only positive part of this stay. The rooms were complete garbage. I booked three rooms for two nights while traveling with my family, and two rooms had no hot water on either day despite repeated complaints. On the second day, the bathtub in one room also had yellow water. The shower drain in my room was clogged, flooding the entire bathroom. I reported it to housekeeping on the first day, but it wasn't fixed, so the bathroom flooded again on day two. I attached photos. Front desk and service responses were very slow, and the hot water problem caused major delays to our schedule. At checkout I showed the flooding photos and complained, but the front desk employee only said she would tell the manager. The manager never appeared, and I still haven't received any response. Smaller hotels deal with these problems much better, or at least have the manager respond instead of leaving it to the front desk. The cost was completely unjustified, especially for a family stay. I expected more from a major international chain like Novotel. Before coming to Abu Dhabi, we spent four days at Hampton by Hilton, Dubai airport, where even a busy airport hotel had welcoming staff, a helpful chef, and quick responses to our requests. My stay at Novotel left me feeling that the hotel doesn't care about its guests and only cares about the money. The front desk didn't even offer compensation for the problems. Avoid Novotel, especially the one in Al Bustan, Abu Dhabi. I won't consider Novotel for future travel.

Alex and Dawal made my birthday stay on 23rd January especially memorable. Their personal assistance, thoughtful support, and attention to the small details really stood out. Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan was comfortable and well maintained, and the overall hospitality from the team was wonderful. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely like to come back.

The room and location were the strongest parts of my stay at Novotel Al Bustan. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and especially convenient for anyone attending events or doing business near ADNEC. The service, though, was frustrating. At check-in, the bell team were inside chatting instead of helping guests with luggage. The front desk also gave little useful guidance to a first-time visitor. When I asked about printing documents, I was told there was no business centre, even though a desk with two computers and a printer was only a few feet away. No basic information about the facilities or nearby area was offered either. The room also had no milk powder or coffee creamer. I had to call room service to get a small cup, and this was not explained beforehand. At checkout, I called bell service five times before anyone came for my luggage. That is not acceptable for a hotel aimed at business travellers. Vikas from Housekeeping was excellent, dependable, and professional. Alisha at Mellow Café & Bakery was warm and helpful, while Sivdas and his team at Nea Restaurant provided very good service. The hotel also has a nightclub, where I was told entry costs AED 250 and includes 4 drinks, although I did not visit it. I gave 3 stars because of the F&B and Housekeeping teams. Without them, it would have been 2. The room and location are good, but the front desk accuracy, guest orientation, and bell service need major improvement.

The restaurant made this week-long stay at Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan especially enjoyable. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all had plenty of tasty choices, and the staff were attentive without losing their welcoming attitude. Ms. Loida deserves a special mention for being professional, warm, and genuinely attentive to guests. The hotel itself was easy to reach, and the staff throughout the property were polite, friendly, and ready to assist. Our room was exceptionally spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made the whole week feel very relaxing. Ms. Loida is a real asset to the team.
