Mermaid Beach Hotel LLC

The higher-floor setting, sea view, and separate living room at Mermaid Beach Hotel were nice, but the Executive Sea View Room did not feel worth the high price. The advertised fruit basket, dental kit, slippers, sewing kit, hair dryer, and toiletries were partly missing or very limited. We received only one soap and one small lotion for the entire stay. The air conditioning also failed to cool the room properly, even at the maximum setting, although it was cold outside, and nights were uncomfortable. The facilities and room preparation did not match the amount paid.

Mermaid Beach Hotel is in Al Nakhil, Al Rumailah 1, near Ajman Corniche, which makes it convenient for tourists and pleasant for walking by the beach. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Spa services are available as an extra way to relax. It’s a good place to stay when visiting Ajman.

I didn’t even check in after seeing the disgusting condition, but the host still refused to give me a full refund. The bed, towel, floor, and furniture were dirty or worn out, and the property looked nothing like the photos. It wasn’t worth staying there even for free. The pictures felt like a trap.

The staff were welcoming, polite, and willing to help, and whenever I asked for something they said yes and delivered it. I hadn’t realised before booking that the hotel was 2 Star, but for the money it was worth it. I couldn’t find a cheaper hotel in that area, and the experience matched what I expected from a 2 star hotel.
