ZOYA Health & Wellbeing Resort

We loved our two-night Wellcation stay at ZOYA Health & Wellbeing Resort over Eid. The resort is beautiful, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. Fatima created a very good 2-day program for us, so we felt relaxed from beginning to end. The buffet was another highlight, especially the healthy choices. The grilled salmon, salmon & shrimp curry, and Thai chicken were particularly good. We’d be happy to come back.

The experience was far below what we expected for the price, and we left early. It felt more like a boarding school than a luxury hotel. The room had no smoking option, coffee machine, or tea, only a dead roses tea, and there was no carpet. The sofa also had visible makeup stains, which was unacceptable for a five-star property. Dining was inconvenient because there was no room service, so we had to eat at the restaurant, which closed after 9 pm. The food choices were limited and served cold. Only three juices were available, including hibiscus and a green drink, with no basic orange or apple option. Even as a health and wellness hotel, it could still provide more healthy choices. Valet service was also poor. After 9 pm, they would not bring the car to the entrance, even when it was parked nearby, so we had to collect it ourselves. The service and housekeeping did not meet a luxury standard.

This hotel offers a very good balance of price and quality. It is peaceful, welcoming, and well maintained, with a location away from city noise and surrounded by golf fields. The healthy breakfasts were tasty, and there were many wellness activities. The pool even has fitness equipment. Try the water bike, regular use for 3-4 days should give a result that won’t disappoint.

Noor at the reception made a real difference to my stay. She listened carefully, understood the issue, and resolved it efficiently and professionally. From the beginning she was polite, respectful, and genuinely cooperative. Her clear communication and positive attitude showed a high level of customer service. Noor deserves recognition for the support she provided.
