Riu Dubai Hotel

The kids had a great time at the evening activities and looked forward to them every day. It’s a handy place to stay with younger children, and the 24-hour all-inclusive service means you don’t have to keep thinking about meals, snacks, or drinks. We stayed five nights. Most meals were good, and a few dinners we happened to catch were extraordinary. The food wasn’t that special every day, though.

The children loved the hotel and enjoyed our whole stay. It was clean, attractive, and well suited to families, and the welcome from the staff was kind and respectful. Suraj, the front manager officer, deserves special thanks. He was very helpful and respectful, and one staff member in particular kept checking that we were comfortable. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would happily return.

The food was a real highlight, with plenty of tasty choices at each meal and good quality and service in the restaurants. I also enjoyed the pool, entertainment programs, and tidy shared spaces. My room was clean, roomy, comfortable, and had a beautiful view, with excellent amenities. The friendly, professional staff were always ready to help, and the focus on guest satisfaction made the holiday relaxing. I had a wonderful stay at RIU Hotel and would gladly come back. I recommend it to anyone after an enjoyable, stress-free holiday.

The food was average and below what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. There weren’t slippers in the room either, which I’d normally expect at this category. At the downstairs bar, staff gave us conflicting information about which drinks were included, until a manager cleared it up. We booked a two-night staycation package. The room was reasonably well prepared, but the balcony floor and furniture were dirty when we arrived. Rubbish stayed on our floor for the whole visit, and the housekeeping felt inconsistent. Torn curtains and pillowcases with holes were other issues that should have been caught before check-in. The minibar/fridge was often empty, and reception took longer than expected to respond to our requests. The stay was acceptable, but cleanliness, upkeep, service consistency, and attention to detail need work.
