InterContinental Fujairah Resort by IHG

Fujairah has a relaxed, old-school seaside feel, almost like a beach town from the 90s, while InterContinental Fujairah is modern, comfortable, and well maintained. The pool area has an easy holiday atmosphere, and there is a bar on site. Families are well catered for with two pools, a kids pool, broad lawns, and a private beach that is easy to reach. Our Junior Suite was divided into two areas, which made things much more comfortable. The rooms are a good size, and the L’Occitane Spa was a lovely way to relax. We ate at DRIFT, the beachfront seafood restaurant, where the food was tasty and the nighttime setting was great, though service was slow during our visit. The staff were still friendly and welcoming. A swim up bar in the pool would have been a nice addition, although the nearby poolside bar made drinks easy to get. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it for a relaxed beach holiday in Fujairah.

The clean grounds, mountain views, and mountain trackings made this one of our favorite places to stay in UAE. We would gladly return for another luxurious, relaxing visit. Hari and Sunny helped with all our questions, especially when we celebrated our birthday at Drift A La Carte restaurant. The congratulations and present were wonderful, and every dish was amazing. Ervi, Hmoon, Deepesh, Jued, Akash, and Jamil took great care of us during dinner in the main restaurant. Su kept the room perfectly clean and added beautiful decorations. She was pleasant and attentive throughout.

The suite had everything we needed, with an amazing sea view, and the hotel's facilities were excellent. As an InterContinental Ambassador, I also received a room upgrade and late check-out. The valet and reception teams welcomed us, explained the facilities, and were very helpful. The Draft restaurant was excellent, with great food and service. Many thanks to Sunny, Gyung, and Claudia. Horzazen lobby lounge was pleasant too, although dessert choices were limited and service was somewhat slow. Nama had an excellent buffet with an enormous selection, while room service was quick, thanks to EDRISA. The only disappointment was not finding the welcome fruit platter or chocolates I usually receive at the Intercontinental Hotel. There also weren't many restaurant choices. Still, we had a perfect experience overall and are looking forward to returning.

The beachfront setting, inviting pools, spacious rooms, and well-kept facilities make the Intercontinental Resort and Beach, MAMA, a beautiful place to relax. There are several dining options, and the beach is pristine. The rooms have all the amenities we wanted and were comfortable throughout our stay. The staff made the biggest difference. Nikita welcomed us with a warm smile, Ervi made time by the pool more enjoyable, and Hmon consistently showed dedication to guests. Jamil helped organize our excursions, while Blessing brought a lot of joy to breakfast with his service. Everyone made us feel valued and cared for. With such a welcoming atmosphere and attentive team, I highly recommend this resort for anyone wanting to unwind in a beautiful setting.
