Dunya Tower is in the heart of Downtown Dubai, a short walk from the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and the Dubai Fountain. The apartments are modern and well finished, with amazing city views. I'm managing a few apartments here. The building has direct indoor access to Dubai Mall from Addrss Fountain View, and studio and 1BR apartments have affordable rent. Guests get great experiences in Downtown at low prices.

The location is a big plus. Dubai Mall is about a three-minute walk across from the Address Hotel, and you can also reach it through the second floor of The Address hotel, which leads straight to the mall's second floor. Restaurants, a grocery store, and a pharmacy are nearby. The building is peaceful, the apartment doors use passcode security, and there's a prayer room, gym, and swimming pool. The gym is open 24/7, though the pool closes earlier. I stayed for four nights, from 18th to 22nd July, 2024. The AC filters were clogged with dust, and we had to call someone to clean them the day after checking in. Management got it fixed, but they should have checked before we arrived. There also isn't a bellboy at the lobby to take your luggage, so you have to carry it up yourself. Otherwise, it's nice 👍

We had to rely on a security guard, who didn't even work for the company, to get into the property because no company representative was available when we arrived. They only operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. We asked several times for entry instructions and were repeatedly told they'd arrive 24 hours before check-in, but they never did. We had paid the deposit soon after booking through Hotel.com. The listing on Hotels.com didn't mention Dunya Tower. It was listed as Hotel Heaven Crest Home Downtown, which caused confusion when we arrived, and there were undisclosed charges. My booking said £6.21 was due on arrival, but I was charged £25.75 with no explanation on the receipt. They also charged a 1000 AED security deposit, then refunded it minus a 5% deduction of £11.50. The two beds were hard, and we couldn't sleep. There was no cleaning during our stay. I asked only for two towels and some tea bags, which came 70 minutes later, after I sent a reminder. I was then told that future service requests would cost extra, something they hadn't clearly explained beforehand, as shown in the attached photo. Communication was poor, the charges weren't clear, and the whole experience felt misleading. I'd strongly recommend avoiding this property unless you're prepared for mean, unprofessional, and unhelpful behavior. For what I was charged, you can get a 5-star hotel next door and have a stress-free stay. Finally, Hotel.com MUST remove them from their list ASAP.
