The view is pretty, especially above the pool and Marina mall, but I wouldn't recommend staying there if you value quiet and peace of mind. The main issue is the sewage smell coming from a defective drainage system. I moved in two weeks ago, and despite several attempts at temporary fixes, the smell is still there. At times it's so strong that nobody can stay in the toilet. I had different reception staff come and smell it at different times. It also reaches the bedroom while I'm sleeping, affecting my health and triggering allergy symptoms. For a residence charging very high prices for a one year stay, the building's infrastructure isn't properly maintained, which affects tenants' wellbeing. The machines are old and have become so loud that they no longer just sound like equipment running. I can't turn on the bedroom AC because of the noise. They promised to replace it, but nothing has happened yet. There were other minor issues from move-in that should have been fixed before handing over the apartment, especially since I rented a unit managed by Emaar. I wouldn't advise anyone to rent without checking that everything works properly. And don't sign a long term contract unless you're completely sure you can live comfortably in the unit and it's worth the money.
