Comfort Inn Hotel

I wouldn't recommend this property. The room was below expectations, the place seemed disorganized, and my experience with management and customer service was extremely disappointing. I was already staying at Comfort Inn after booking a room for two days when two friends came to visit. We decided to book them another room, but accidentally chose the wrong date. Booking.com told me a date-change request could take up to 48 hours, and that any refund depended on the property's approval. To avoid problems, I immediately booked again for the correct date. When the original booking request reached the hotel, it was declined without any attempt to understand or help with the mistake. I raised it with staff and the manager, but got an aggressive attitude and dismissive, uncooperative responses. The manager handled it particularly poorly. A hotel should care about guests and deal with issues professionally, and that wasn't my experience here.

The room wasn't ready for four guests: there was just one hand soap, one bath soap, one shampoo sachet, and one towel. We had to ask for basic things that should have been there already. The bathroom was visibly dirty, the TV didn't work, and the refrigerator was iced up and didn't cool properly. Getting into the room was a recurring hassle because the key cards often failed, sending us back to the front desk again and again. We also put up the cleaning request sign, but housekeeping didn't come. Even after we followed up at the desk, the room still wasn't cleaned. The pool hours were frustratingly short, closing at 5:30 PM, so guests could use it only during the hottest part of the day, with little chance to enjoy it in the cooler afternoon or evening. Parking was another early problem, with very limited, tight spaces that were hard to navigate. Between the cleanliness, maintenance, service, and amenities, this stay didn't feel like good value for money. I wouldn't stay here again.

I spent two nights here starting last Monday, and came away disappointed. The room wasn't cleaned regularly, and we had to remind staff several times, including while we were out. That basic service shouldn't take repeated requests. The HR Manager was rude and unprofessional, though the Filipina HR staff member was respectful, helpful, and much easier to deal with. The hotel's facilities and service overall didn't meet what I'd expect for a comfortable stay. Poor cleanliness and the behavior of some staff really affected the visit, and it didn't feel worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Union Metro Station is within walking distance, and the location is good. But the service was bad, and the TV didn't work. The building felt abandoned. We asked reception in the morning to have the room cleaned. We were told to wait because housekeeping was busy with check-outs. We asked again at 5pm before going out, but when we returned, it still hadn't been cleaned. We went back to reception and waited in the waiting area after asking again. They said we could return to the room after five minutes. All they had done was remove the garbage. The staff have a bad attitude. Don't stay here.
