Remi in security was rude and argumentative with a woman who had given her the requested ID, name, and apartment number. She still refused to let the woman in, saying the tenant had to call. Meanwhile, delivery drivers were walking through after leaving their IDs, and nobody checked whether the people they were visiting were home. The rules are being applied inconsistently. What upset me most was the way Remi spoke to her. She laughed and said, “you’re not getting in,” then tried to pull me into it while I was just watching, asking, “do you see this woman? hahahaha” I was shocked. That kind of power-tripping attitude and inability to manage her emotions are a poor fit for a customer-facing role.

I enjoy the pool and gym regularly, and the direct pedestrian route to the park is a real plus. There were fire alarm problems, but those were fixed in 2023 and haven’t bothered me since. I’ve had no other issues, though perhaps I’ve just been lucky. Overall, living here has been a great experience.

The apartments look beautiful, and the neighborhood has a great park and boardwalk for families, with really cute events. The amenities are good too, which makes the problems with the building especially frustrating. The construction feels cheap, with defects already present when I moved in. Grout crumbles without being touched, the toilet metal was rusty, and within a couple of months both the shower handle and balcony door handle came off. Emaar maintenance is unpredictable. They corrected two switched floor indicators for the elevators the morning after I reported them, and fixed the balcony handle within a couple of days. But the person handling my shower ticket said only a plumber could fix it, and the plumber never came. In August, I reported a leaking faucet. Nobody showed up, and they closed the ticket saying they had contacted me and resolved it, though I never heard from them. The warranty conveniently expired at the end of August. Since I moved in, the alarm has gone off almost every day, sometimes in the middle of the night. It’s unlivable.

I had a great stay in this amazing apartment in Creek Harbour, Dubai. It was spotless, had everything I needed, and was incredibly well located. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
